Top 50 Girls Names in the U.S.



The Social Security Administration released it's annual list of the top baby names being chosen in the United States.  These are the top 50 girls names chosen for babies in 2014.

As with Anakin for boys, another Star Wars was name has made its way onto the list for girls.  The year after the fist Star Wars movie, the name Leia (from the character Princess Leia) cracked the top 1,000 names coming in at #911 and it's been creeping up ever since.  Leia now comes in at #509.
